Profile
Professor Nessrin Taha is a Professor of Endodontics in the Department of Conservative Dentistry at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. She obtained her BDS degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and holds a specialty qualification in Endodontics, along with a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She previously served as Vice Dean and Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry. She is an established academic and clinician with extensive experience in teaching, clinical practice, and research in endodontics. She is particularly well known for her contributions to vital pulp therapy research, with a focus on biologically based approaches to pulp preservation and contemporary materials used in pulp treatment. She has been an invited speaker at international meetings of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD), the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA), and other professional associations. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Field of Endodontics. Her research interests also include regenerative endodontics and minimally invasive endodontic techniques. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and contributes actively to undergraduate and postgraduate dental education through teaching, mentorship, and clinical supervision.
