Relations with Readers

Journal of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry is committed to publishing scientifically sound, original, and relevant content that contributes to the fields of endodontics, restorative dentistry, and dental science. The journal aims to provide readers, researchers, clinicians, and students with reliable and up-to-date scientific information.

The journal welcomes comments, questions, and scientific discussions from readers. When appropriate, reader feedback is evaluated by the editorial office, and responses are provided in a transparent and informative manner. Funding sources, conflicts of interest, ethical approvals, and other relevant declarations are disclosed in published articles in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.

Relations with Authors

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to their originality, scientific importance, methodological quality, ethical compliance, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope. Editorial decisions are based on the scientific merit of the manuscript and the recommendations of independent reviewers.

The journal is committed to providing authors with fair, objective, and constructive editorial evaluation. Authors are informed about the peer-review and editorial decision-making processes. Once a manuscript is accepted, the decision will not be reversed unless serious concerns arise regarding research integrity, publication ethics, authorship, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other major ethical or scientific issues.

Relations with Reviewers

Reviewers are selected according to their expertise, academic background, and relevance to the subject of the submitted manuscript. The journal provides reviewers with clear guidance and expects them to evaluate manuscripts objectively, confidentially, and constructively.

Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review invitation. The identity of reviewers is kept confidential in accordance with the journal’s double-blind peer-review policy. Comments that are unprofessional, biased, or not scientifically justified are not considered appropriate.

The editorial office monitors reviewer performance in terms of timeliness, quality, objectivity, and constructiveness of the review reports. The reviewer database is updated periodically to ensure appropriate expertise and diversity.

Relations with the Editorial Board

Editorial board members are selected based on their academic qualifications, expertise, publication record, and contribution to the relevant fields of dental science. They are expected to support the journal’s editorial standards, ethical principles, and scientific quality.

The editor-in-chief and editorial office maintain communication with editorial board members regarding journal policies, editorial procedures, and developments in scholarly publishing. Editorial board members may contribute to peer review, policy development, journal promotion, and the improvement of editorial quality.

All editorial board members are expected to act independently, impartially, and in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and conflict of interest policies.
